Apr 30, 2007 – Mortgage foreclosures are up 172% from the first quarter of 2006 to 2007.
Experts believe the mortgage industry will be dealing with this problem for another 2 years. The problem of foreclosure has ballooned in the last year, as many adjustable rate mortgages are resetting to higher payments.
Compounding the issue are borrowers with sub par credit and little or no equity to save their home.
